2008 Downloadable Roughnecks Schedule
The schedule for the Calgary Roughnecks 2008 season is now available to download.
It only takes seconds and once the schedule has successfully been imported you can easily sync to your handheld device and have the game time, opponent and location for all games at your fingertips.
With the entire schedule conveniently integrated into your outlook calendar at work, at home or on the road, you'll always know when it's a game day.
This download works with handheld devices that are capable of synchronizing data with Microsoft Outlook 97, 98, 2000, 2002, 2003 or XP:
STEP ONE:
Download the Roughneck Schedule Now (Right-click, choose SAVE TARGET AS...) Rename the file roughneck_schedule.csv and save to your desktop (you must include the .csv). When the file has saved click Close.
STEP TWO:
- Select File --> Import and Export...
- Select Import from another program or fileand click Next.
- Select Comma Separated Values (Windows) and click Next.
- Find the wild_schedule.csv file you just downloaded and select Do not import duplicate items and click Next.
- Select the Calendar folder and click Next.
- The next window will have a title that says "The following actions will be performed:" above an option to Import 'downloadable_schedule.csv' into the 'Calendar' folder"
- Check the box to the left and and click on "Import "roughnecks_schedule.csv" into folder: "Calendar"
- In some versions of Outlook you will be required to chose what fields you want to import. For those users, simply click and drag needed fields from the left window into the right window. It is fairly self-explanatory, but the basic corresponding fields are below:
LEFT COLUMN TO RIGHT COLUMN
DATE to Start Date
TIME to Start Time
HOME GAME to Home Game
OPPONENT ID to Opponent
- If you would like Outlook to place a reminder on the event, also move REMINDER_ON_OFF to Reminder On/Off
- Lastly, click Finish
STEP THREE:
To get the Roughnecks schedule onto your Palm or Handheld device, synchronize your PDA to your computer and you've got the schedule to go!
