ROUGHNECKS SIGN FOUR PLAYERS
Calgary re-signs Manning, Scigliano, McIntosh, Cornwall

CALGARY, AB – The Calgary Roughnecks announced today that they have re-signed defencemen Curtis Manning and Garrett McIntosh to two-year contracts and have agreed to one-year deals with goaltender Frankie Scigliano and transition player Travis Cornwall. The agreements are subject to league approval.

Manning, a native of Surrey, British Columbia, has spent his entire five-year NLL career with Calgary recording 38 points (15 goals, 23 assists) while collecting 283 loose balls over 56 games played. The Roughnecks selected the 26-year-old transition player in the first round, sixth overall, in the 2008 NLL Entry Draft.

McIntosh, a 24-year-old defencemen, tallied three goals and six assists during his rookie season in 2014 while collecting 33 loose balls over 18 games played. Calgary selected the Coquitlam native in the third round, 24th overall, in the 2013 NLL Entry Draft.

Cornwall, Calgary’s first-round selection (seventh overall) in the 2011 draft, just completed his third NLL season.  The 24-year-old transition player from Coquitlam, British Columbia, has registered 24 points (13 goals, 11 assists) and scooped up 60 loose balls in 36 career games.

Scigliano, a product of Coquitlam, British Columbia, posted a 13.53 goals-against average and a .732 save percentage over 146 minutes played in the 2014 NLL season. The Roughnecks selected the 22-year-old goaltender in the second round, 18th overall, in the 2011 NLL Entry Draft.
